The optometrist here is so friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been coming here for a few years and I’m really happy with their service. Highly recommended!

I recently accepted that I need reading glasses and booked an appointment with Chimene Lim at First Eyewear Centre. The store is easy to find and neatly organised, and the staff were professional, welcoming, and clearly worked well as a team.

Chimene took the time to understand my specific requirements and talked me through the full process and my options, which have changed considerably since I last visited an optician. Together we settled on the most suitable lens solution and frames, and they arrived faster than expected. Fitting was quick and precise, and I left with real confidence that I had received the best possible service available.

A five-star experience throughout. I will be recommending First Eyewear Centre to family and friends.

Went there to make my new specs! Chimene, Kolin and Alan were really helpful in choosing a frame that was not only stylish but practical as well. They were also very descriptive in the different type of lenses available and the whole experience was very refreshing as compared to the mass market chains. 10/10 will come back!

Alan has provided fantastic and excellent service for the past 10 years. He is patient, sincere and honest when I seek his advice. He ensures that my requests are fully met to my satisfaction.
He is an asset to the company.

Excellent service, skills and patience.
First Eyewear helped to repair my spectacles (not bought from the store) with my spare part at no cost even when the repair was tricky and time consuming.

Made a pair of glasses based on the prescription they provided at another store, but the prescription didn’t work for me. When i shared this with them, they told me there was nothing they could do as I didn’t make the glasses at their store. There was a huge difference in the previous prescription they provided and the new one they gave me after i went back, and honestly could have been really dangerous if I had worn my glasses on the road. Disappointed in the lack of accountability and won’t be going back.

Edit: Chimene personally reached out to me to rectify this situation. Appreciate the gesture and accountability taken.

I was being served by Mr Jayden Poh who was serving his internship. I’m very impressed by his knowledge. From the start till the end of my time in the shop, he explain clearly and carefully about my prescription. He did not rush and really took his time which i really like because it tells me to trust him even more. I managed to purchase new specs and lenses under him. I would definitely return to this exact shop and look for him in the future if he were to return to the same shop. Thank you Mr Jayden Poh for your amazing service.
