Corneal Topography

Corneal topography is a computerised eye care diagnostic tool that creates a three-dimensional map of the surface curvature of the cornea. The cornea is responsible for about 70 percent of the focusing power of the eye.

An eye with normal vision has an evenly rounded cornea. If the cornea is irregular due to high astigmatism or visual distortion, corneal topography will be the best eye care tool to detect especially cornea eye disease like keratoconus. Corneal topographer is an essential test for myopia control like Ortho-K.
